Meet-Up Events
The Meet-Up Events are the informal offering of The Philosopher’s Yard. In them, we aim to build The Philosophers’ Yard community.
Each meet-up will be focused on group conversation, centred on a topic such as Human Connection, Inner Peace or Creativity. Usually, there is a set of icebreaker questions to help start interesting conversations, and after that, we might even have a speaker or a fun activity planned. The venue should always be open after our events so you can stay and talk for as long as you want.
The goal of the meet-ups is for everybody to have the opportunity to meet like-minded people and make new friends. Engage with people who share your deepest thoughts or explore new ideas on things you’ve never heard before. Whether tapping into the collective wisdom or simply enjoying a moment of laughter, all is welcome at our Meet-Up Events.
The vibe is chill, and you are welcome to bring your passion for all things philosophy. Go as relaxed or as deep as you like.
Come, meet, and enjoy new friendships in our relaxed Curious Creative Community.
Who is this event for?
This event is for people looking for a bit of community. If you’ve been to a Main Event and want to continue a conversation, or you’ve never been to The Philosophers’ Yard and want a relaxed introduction, these events are perfect for you. We structure the events to encourage conversation and friendly open engagement, and the venue will always be open after the event for you to stay and talk as long as you want.
If you want to participate in the community but can’t make it in person then check out our Virtual Community.
