What if a person lived for 14,000 years? How would their view of history, mortality, and human existence differ from our own?
For our special summer event, The Philosophers’ Yard invites you to a unique Philosophy Cinema screening of ‘The Man from Earth’.
This classic film follows a retiring university professor who reveals to his colleagues that he is an immortal caveman. What unfolds is a captivating story that forces us to confront deep questions in how we understand truth, knowledge and time.
Following the screening, we will have small group discussions to unpack these profound philosophical themes together. Whether you are a regular film buff or simply curious about life’s big questions, come share your perspectives in a friendly, relaxed setting.
